Native Instruments have just unveiled the Traktor DJ 2 app. It’s compatible with desktop and iPad, integrates with SoundCloud Go and free to download.
Traktor 2 is the latest DJ app from Native Instruments. It’s the app that makes DJing easy, that you can take to the house party or warehouse for free.
Here’s how Native Instruments describe the new app:
“…we want to make mixing tunes and playing sets something everybody can do. TRAKTOR DJ 2 is a DJ app without barriers; it’s free, SoundCloud Go+ integration means you have access to an endless track collection, and TRAKTOR’s song recommendations help you choose which one to play next. All you need is a laptop or iPad.”
The app’s gentle learning curve is underscored with it’s auto syncing function, meaning you don’t have to manually beat match.
But there are also a couple of fun features available for when you find your feet. Freeze mode allows you to jump around waveforms, play beats and vocal samples in real time.
