Billionaire Entrepreneur Invests in Auto-Tune, Makes Rap to Honour Dead Gorilla

Billionaire entrepreneur that you may have heard of, Elon Musk (Space X, Tesla, Paypal, SolarCity, Neuralink) launched himself into a new technological venture earlier this week, but will it benevolently benefit humanity? Well, I think it’s safe to say that it’s a bit early to jump to conclusions yet.

Billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk has invested in the voice correction software Auto-Tune to create a rap honouring the beloved dead Gorilla, Harambe.

Musk took some time out from planning the human race’s maiden voyage to Mars to invest in the software Auto-tune and proceeded to rap about the infamous dead Gorilla, Harambe.

Auto-Tune is a popular voice altering software developed by Antares Audio Technologies in the 1990s for corrective applications. Despite this, recording artist such as T-Pain have come to use the software’s ability to create modulative effects for artistic and expressive purposes. You can hear Auto-Tune used to great effect on Musk’s new single RIP Harambe.

The interesting choice of subject matter for Musk’s new release is Harambe, a Gorilla that was shot and killed by a zookeeper at Cincinnati zoo in 2016 after a three-year-old jumped into the large ape’s enclosure. Public outrage ensued as many questioned the justification for such drastic measures and Harambe consequentially became a public icon for about two months.

“RIP Harambe/Sipping on some Bombay/We on our way to heaven/Amen, Amen,”  sings Musk, through autotune. “RIP Harambe/Smoking on some strong/In the gorilla zoo/And we thinking about you.”

It’s unsure as to what Musk’s motives were in reviving this issue, however, some speculate that he plans to use his engineering know-how to clone the deceased ape. Musk chose to release the single via his own label ‘Emo G Records’ via Soundcloud.

“This might be my finest work,” stated the Space X owner, who in previous endeavours has revolutionised electric power and space travel. Decide for yourself below.
