Synthesist Omri Cohen shared an ambient, cinematic version of Jingle Bells. He did it all with an open source modular soft synth: VCV Rack.
 

If you like your Christmas Carols moody, with sweeping cinematic ambience, this might be for you. Omri Cohen’s version of Jingle Bells is a true epic.

It’s hypnotic, undulating, with a touch of Hans Zimmer in its long distorted crescendos. Check out the video below:
